Sporades Islands
Scattered to the southeast of the Pelion Peninsula, to which they were once joined, the 11 islands that make up the Sporades group have mountainous terrain, dense vegetation offering ideal sailing conditions and many alluring ports and bays to visit.
The Sporades Islands consists of eleven islands, four of which are inhabited: Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros.
